  1.                              The Search Panel

  4.         The "Search Panel" is used to to define information that is  to  be
  5.  matched in the bowler database.  The search panel itself is a blank BOWLER
  6.  INFORMATION  window  that  is  filled  with  the search information.  When
  7.  matched, the entire bowler record will be displayed and ready  for  action
  8.  which is dependant on the menu item selected.

  29.         For example, to  delete  bowlers  on  a  specific  team,  move  the
  30.  highlight to the "Team" field via the +/- or cursor up/down arrow keys and
  31.  press  the  "Enter"  or  "Return"  key.  This selects team as the field in
  32.  which to search. Next, enter the name of the team that has bowlers  to  be
  33.  deleted  (for  this example, "PINBUSTERS" will be assumed).  BowlStat will
  34.  search through the bowler database and display any  bowlers  that  "match"
  35.  with the team name of "PINBUSTERS".

  37.         Once  a  match  has  been found, BowlStat will request confirmation
  38.  before deleting the bowler record: "MATCHED! Delete Data? (Y/N):". If  the
  39.  data  for this bowler is to be deleted, press "Y" (yes) and the "Enter" or
  40.  "Return" key.  The data will be deleted and BowlStat  will  continue  it's
  41.  search for additional datbase matches.

  43.         When  entering  search information, keep in mind that BowlStat will
  44.  match all characters that are entered. In the above  example,  a  name  of
  45.  "PIN"  would  have  matched bowlers on the teams "PINHEADS", "PINBOYS" and
  46.  "PINNERS" - because all start with "PIN". Therefore, to limit  the  number
  47.  of possible matches, enter as much information as possible.

  50.  Notes:  To  exit  the  search  panel,  press the "ESC" (escape) key at the
  51.          confirmation prompt.
